Transcendental atmospheres lined with tabla beats fill this third yoga-centric release in the 'Asana' series.  Asana 3: Peaceful Heart features cutting edge Indian fusion artists like Bill Laswell, Laraaji, Karsh Kale, Pharoah Sanders and others, with elaborate, tripped out tapestries of drone instruments, haunting chants (which were recorded live in Southern India), bells and keyboard/synthesizers.  Great for adding a little boost to a yoga routine, this music is upbeat, energetic and without a doubt hypnotic.

 'Yoga soundtrack or not, this is some of the best 'Indi-pop"'world music yet recorded, with plenty of spatial effects and spirit, enticing, masterful and otherworldly throughout.  Special mention is deserving for the beautiful packaging, which complements the project and brings the whole thing to a very high level.  Don't miss this one!'
