Dean Evenson and Scott Huckabay -TAO OF HEALING
Play Sample East meets West in this exquisite collaboration between Sound Healing pioneer Dean Evenson and Chinese guqin master Li Xiangting. Evenson's sensitive silver flute artfully blends with the exotic melodies of Professor Li's ancient 7 stringed zither to create a truly healing musical experience.
Tao of Healing is a lofty bridging of cultures through musical dialogue- the flute, the guqin, and the guitar. When Dean Evenson and Professor Li Xiangting of Beijing, China first met, they recognized each other as kindred musical spirits from opposite sides of the globe, yet communicating perfectly through the universal language of music.
The silver tones of Evenson's flute mirror the haunting and exotic sounds of Professor Li's ancient seven stringed zither. For the first time since he began recording albums in 1979, Evenson has not included natural sounds within the musical mixes, letting the music itself communicate the peacefulness of natures. | Musicians

Review: | Tao of Healing | | Music Soundscapes, Robert Walmsley | | "The third release in Dean Evenson’s Sound Healing Series offers the peaceful and meditative silver tones of Evenson’s flute mirroring the exotic and magical sounds of Professor Li’s guqin (Chinese zither). In addition, Scott Huckabay’s intimate guitar stylings are present to further enhance and add depth tot his extremely relaxing and healing music. Immediately upon hearing this release I placed it in my personal line up of relaxation/healing music to caress my soul in sleep on a nightly basis and give Tao of Healing top marks across the board for massage, meditation, relaxation, and healing applications." | Product SKU: SP-1802-TAOOFHE
