Artist Bio:

Dean Evenson has been creating his own brand of healing music since 1979 when he and his wife, Dudley, founded their independent record label Soundings of the Planet. His music has reached the Billboard charts and been endorsed by mind-body authors such as Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Larry Dossey, and Joan Borysenko, PhD. Even Grammy award-winning country singer Naomi Judd has used Dean’s music during her own healing process. Recently, Dean and Dudley have been reaching out to troops returning from combat and dealing with PTSD. Their music is being used at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and around the country to help wounded veterans. He and Dudley teach workshops on music and healing nationwide. d’Rachael has been performing with Dean since the inception of Soundings of the Planet. Their collaborations have achieved a wide following with popular albums such as Ocean Dreams, Peaceful Pond, Forest Rain, Healing Waters and Healing Sanctuary. As the third of four musically talented generations, d'Rachael taps a deep artistic current. Her big-band leader grandfather taught her flute at an early age, and her pianist mother led the family in hearthside musical concerts. d'Rachael went on to study classical flute, touring with various ensembles and performing in symphony orchestras. She currently makes her home in the tropical world of Puerto Vallerta, Mexico and performs in live jazz ensembles on both harp and flute.
